Coming Full Circle

“And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Dylan Thomas

Revolutions have a way of coming around. “History doesn’t repeat itself. My children, their children and future generations won’t have to face the return of the monsters of the 20th century: Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and the rest: they are gone for ever. But history does rhyme.”…

History tells us stories of methods gone wrong, ideals that didn’t quite work out, heroes acknowledged only when they no longer stand. Life changed when we found we could grow instead of gather, when we could use currency instead of barter, when we found technology could bypass progression and when we can talk in real time across continents.

Now more than ever we need new heroes, new madmen. People who can see Utopia and smile because it is conceivable more so today than before. People who can see new things. Colours that blend, change with contxt. Breeze that blows with gentle whispers telling tales of tomorrow and yesterday. Light that teaches, exposes and understands. People who live in dignity and truth.

The secret is no longer in dreams it lies in waking up!
